On 17th December, a youth narrowly escaped a stray dog attack while he was out for a morning walk at Panchsheel Hynish Society in Greater Noida West. The incident occurred at around 5:30 am when the youth was walking inside the society premises. The stray dog suddenly attacked him but failed to bite him as its teeth got stuck in his jacket. The incident has triggered anger and concern among residents.

The youth has been identified as Shubhang. He said that the stray dog suddenly attacked him from behind without any provocation. In an attempt to save himself, Shubhang ran but slipped and fell on the ground. The dog then tried to bite him, but its teeth got stuck in his jacket, tearing it apart. The youth managed to escape without sustaining a bite injury.

Residents express concern over growing stray dog menace

Residents of the society have expressed concern over the rising stray dog menace within the premises. According to them, such dogs frequently attack people during morning walks and have also chased children playing in the evenings. Several complaints have reportedly been made to the Apartment Owners Association, but no effective action has been taken.
